As one of only two certified Pikler Trainers in North America, Elsa serves as the President and CEO of Pikler/Lóczy USA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the legacy of Dr. Emmi Pikler. Through this platform, she continues the mission of fostering healthy, happy children, collaborating closely with Anna Tardos, Dr. Pikler’s daughter. Together, they co-authored the groundbreaking 2017 book, In Loving Hands: How the Rights for Young Children Living in Children’s Homes Offer Hope and Happiness in Today’s World. This seminal work has garnered attention for its compassionate approach to early childhood development, advocating for the rights and needs of children in institutional care.
Elsa’s contributions to the field have not gone unnoticed. An excerpt from her upcoming book, The Future Is in Our Hands: A Mindful Approach to Raising Children, was recently published by Exchange Press and is already receiving accolades from early years professionals worldwide. She is a working group leader for the World Forum Foundation™, a RIE® Associate, a PITC trainer, and a certified Lactation Educator. Raised in a bilingual environment spanning both Mexico and the United States, Elsa embraces cultural diversity and is conversational in French.
