Lisa is the director and owner of RIE Bred. Certified and Accredited RIE® Practitioner teaches RIE® Parent-Infant Guidance™ class to parents and childcare givers. Accredited RIE® Mentor Teacher teaches caregivers and RIE practicum students. Onsite / In-Home Consultant for parents and childcare centers. Speaker / Trainer as infant/toddler expert at various local, national, and international organizations, conferences, and workshops. RIE® Board Member, Chair of RIE®  Alliance.

Lisa oversees and manages the Miami Book Fair, Miami Dade College: Development, Fundraising, Corporate Sponsorship. She created and successfully implemented Literati Society, a membership targeting young professionals, a demographic that Book Fair had not previously targeted.

At the Linda Ray Intervention Center, University of Miami, Lisa was a home-based Teacher who oversaw and documented children, newborns up to age three, exposed to cocaine while in utero; Bi-weekly home visits documenting progress or regression in children 0-36 months in areas of fine motor skills, language, cognitive abilities and gross motor skills.

At the Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami, Florida, Lisa was an Addiction Counselor, Site Director, Case Manager, Treatment Coordinator

The Queen’s Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii Substance Abuse Counselor, worked with dual diagnosis patients in/out patient program in the mental health unit of the hospital.

Castle Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii; Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse and Addictions Treatment, Case Manager, Program Specialist. Worked with adults and adolescents; opened the first adolescent treatment program in Hawaii, The Bobby Benson Center.
